So for probably 2 decades I didn't throw-up, I got nauseous a lot, especially when I got bad headaches or stressed but usually I don't throw-up. Sometimes, I even tried to make myself in hopes of ending the nausea, but I never would throw up. Well today for the third time in a couple years, which is a lot for me, I threw up!
I went to the post office during lunch and while there, the nausea set in. I started taking slow deep breathes and managed to make it home. Of course, I was feeling progressively worse but knew I just needed to lie down. Because that's how I always handle it. As I got into my apartment, I had to go to the bathroom but the nausea seemed to be getting worse so I was worried. I sit down on the toilet, and uh oh, I grab the trash and YUCK!
Last time, it was just a little, not even really throwing up but this time, it was the throw up that never ends. It seemed to come so slow and sooo much. All I had eaten was some raisins, almonds, and sunflower seeds. I just kept thinking to myself, I'm sure I didn't eat this much. And it tasted almost the same as it did the first time, I don't think I'll be eating any of that for awhile. SICK! Finally, I was done and proceeded to actually go to the bathroom while spitting and wiping my nose. Nope, wasn't done, a few more times and THEN I was done. I did feel pretty decent after, but I decided to lay down for an hour and make sure my stomach was calm. I had a piece of plain bread on my way back to work and my stomach tolerated it well. But because of the lack of food during the day, I had two dinners tonight. A peanut butter and jam sandwich with some green beans and then a couple hours later some delicious whole grain spaghetti. I had SUCH an appetite! I hate throwing up and during the nastiness today I was also wondering why people choose to do this. There are better tasting, easier, happier ways to lose weight. I promise.
Hope your day was better than mine!
