Priceless

So if you didn't know I'm an accountant, specifically tax accountant and yes, I love numbers and yes, I'm a bit of a nerd. I am constantly counting things and calculating things. I see my world in numbers often. So of course I kept EVERY receipt and noted the tolls and parking meter prices that I didn't get receipts for.

I forgot to write down the exact mileage when I started :( but I have pretty accurately estimated.

Miles: 6,500

Gas: $684.76

Motels: $522.14

Food, Tours, Souvenirs: $1,086.82

15 States in 1 trip and ZERO car problems: PRICELESS

Sorry Mastercard, I used Visa but there slogan fits too. "More people go with Visa," and boy did I go!

I used google maps a lot and here is the map to show you where I went. Pretty cool, huh?

Coming back was not so cool. I DID NOT want to go to work but I had to pay for this trip, didn't I?

I got to work to tons of emails and more returns waiting to be done, found out another co-worker had quit (more returns for me to prepare), I COMPLETELY forgot my password and locked myself out of my computer, and I had pretty much forgotten any return I had been working on. Monday one word: HARD. All week was catch-up. Not fun but what kept me motivated- my next trip. I left after only being back 4 days. I do love to travel :)
